Steven G. Petramale is an associate attorney at McPhillips, Fitzgerald & Cullum, LLP, focusing on civil litigation. His areas of practice include medical malpractice defense, plaintiff’s personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, worker’s compensation, contract disputes, real property disputes, Medicare and Medicaid coverage disputes, and criminal matters. Before joining the firm, Mr. Petramale practiced in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he successfully represented plaintiffs in personal injury and worker’s compensation matters and defended physicians in medical malpractice disputes. Mr. Petramale also served as an attorney advisor to a panel of Administrative Appeals Judges within the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Medicare Appeals Council. He is admitted to practice in New York State, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
A native of Queensbury, Mr. Petramale graduated cum laude from St. Lawrence University in 2014 with bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and mathematics. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2017, was a Dean’s Scholar, and a CALI Award recipient for his participation in the pro-bono family law clinic.
